The masterplan for area 2 – land north of Harvest Ride, south of Forest Road and west of Avery Lane – has been approved by Bracknell Forest Council.

The outline planning application, 13/01007/OUT, together with all other planning applications can be viewed at the Bracknell Forest Council website.

Phase 1

The first phase of construction – a new link road from the existing Quelm Park roundabout to a new roundabout on Forest Road, near the current junction at Bott Bridge (next to the Spice Lounge, formerly the Three Legged Cross), plus 87 new dwellings on a site east of Framptons Bridge roundabout (near Jocks Lane Recreation Ground) – started in January 2015. The launch of sales is likely sometime in Spring 2015, with the first completion currently expected in January 2016.

Phase 2

A planning application, 14/01275/REM, for the first of Warfield’s two new primary schools – a two-form entry school (including nursery) – has been approved by Bracknell Forest Council. The school is expected to open in September 2016.

Phase 3

Two planning applications are currently being considered by Bracknell Forest Council; 15/00163/REM for 94 new dwellings on the site immediately east of the site currently under construction, and 15/00217/REM for The Cut corridor.
