Joint Minerals and Waste Local Plan for Central and Eastern Berkshire

The Central and
Eastern Berkshire Authorities (Bracknell Forest Council, Reading Borough
Council, The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and Wokingham Borough
Council) are working in partnership to produce a Joint Minerals and Waste Plan
which will guide minerals and waste decision making in the Plan area up until
2036.
Consultation on
the next version of the plan that it is intended to submit to Government for
examination by an independent planning inspector is taking place between:
Thursday 3rd September 2020 and Thursday
15th October 2020.
At
this stage in the process, any comments made must focus on whether the Plans has been prepared in accordance
with
legal
and procedural requirements and is
‘sound’.
Plans are ‘sound’ if they are positively prepared, justified, effective and consistent
with national policy (further details are set out in the Frequently Asked
Questions document on the web site)
All
representations must be received by 5pm on 15th October 2020. Late representations cannot be accepted as
duly made.
