Draft Bracknell Forest Local Plan consultation

Bracknell Forest Council have begun a consultation process on their draft Local Plan. This process reviews the planning policies that Bracknell Forest Council will follow over the coming years and includes proposals for additional living, working and recreational space. You are invited to participate in the consultation which can be accessed here.

The consultation runs from Thursday 8 February to 5pm on Monday 26 March 2018.

If you would like to know more about the draft local plan a series of exhibitions will  be held. The Bracknell Forest Council contains more information, but you can attend the exhibition at our Parish Office on Thursday 1 March between 5pm and 8pm and on Saturday 3 March between 10am and 3pm. In addition there are two larger events being hosted in Princess Square (next to Coffee Republic) on Thursday 22 February between 10am-1pm and 5pm-8pm.

We should clarify to residents that this is a  separate exercise to the Warfield Neighbourhood Plan, which will be finalised shortly. Bracknell Forest Council have used some elements from the Neighbourhood Plan to develop their own concepts and ideas, but these have not been developed with the Parish Council or the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group.
